Cool Blu-ray laptop

I understand that the supply of the diodes which generate the blue-light lasers used in Blu-ray drives to read and write data may not be that extensive (http://www.reghardware.co.uk/2006/07..._diode_dearth/). Although I am behind Sony 100%, perhaps they should ensure they should have as many PS3s available at launch as possible. After all, the PS3 should be the cheapest Blu-ray player available at that time. For Blu-ray to achieve greatest market penetration, a Blu-ray laptop at $3500 may not be the best thing--now, in Blu-ray's infancy. A $600 Blu-ray player which is also a game console has a much better chance to be embraced by the public. I hope Sony doesn't make the PS3 more scarce than it will already be by diverting PS3 parts to such an expensive laptop.

Go Blu-ray!
