I have some other questions about this monitor, in case someone has the time and knowledge to address them:

When viewing a 1080i signal, if I go to the monitor's menu and ask what resolution I'm in, it tells me 1920 x 540. The picture quality definitely LOOKS like 1080, but why is the monitor reporting 540?

Also, I've noticed that when watching cable TV (I have Comcast and I noticed this on channels like Discovery HD), a very thin vertical white line appears on the extreme left side of the image WHILE the channel's logo is displayed on the lower right-hand corner of the screen. When the channel chooses to remove their logo, this thin white line disappears along with the logo. Might this be a limitation of the component video input (YPbPr)? Should I spend the $80-$100 to connect my cable box to the TV set via a DVI cable instead of the component video cables?

Any and all info would be greatly appreciated!
