I can watch on component outputs from the DVD player (no dvi out on it) and when i started first with the DVI to hdmi adapter then hdmi to the lcd it did the exact same thing, low res high res..didn't matter, but i can turn the tv off and then back on and it'll chill for a while then "warm up" and do it again. the good news i suppose is that i watched the dvd last night through the dvd player and no glitches at all. even when i watch vongo from the comp it tends to not do it (but it has). All i can think is that the vid card is a generic one ( i bought this from powerpc.com pretty decked out but i had a "budget" card put in. probably gonna try a switch with that befor i think about sending it back...
