The X1600 is capable of HD resolutions. You are using Catalyst 6.9? Also, make sure the Video Card is properly identified in Device Manager. It should not say something like "X1600 series", it should list the exact model of the video card. I have seen this be an issue. Rule out a bad driver installation by performing a clean installation? Remove driver via add/remove programs in the control panel, reboot and then reinstall driver.

I noticed you mentioned "warm-up". Do you mean the issue does not occur until after the unit has been on for a few minutes? If so, it sounds like bad hardware.

Remember to verify the basics. Check the cable, also try again cable? Also talk to Westinghouse about it.. Sometimes issue exist that are not known to the public..
