For the last few months we have all endured rumors regarding a Motion Controller for 360. Microsoft denies it's existence (naturally) but many credible sources say the device is coming. Well, yesterday a company called
Motus Games announced that they will release a Motion Controller in the next year. But strangly there is no mention of PC, 360 or PS3 on their site anywhere and no sign of a PC or Console in the images of them playing Star Wars. Is this the same controller that has been rumored for 360? The controller called "Darwin" is working with 3 games at the moment and they are working on support for more. You know, the Wii is "OK" but the lack of killer games has been a big issue for me along with Nintendo's (plain fucking stupid) blatant disregard for ONLINE PLAY (and other features like Voicemail, Text Messages, Chat, etc.
What is really interesting about this product is how their motion sensing technology works (different than Wii). Apparently the device utilizes several internal gyroscopes to track it's movements and know where it is (Wii relies on accelerometers and IR strip) providing a much better experience then the Wiimote.

If the Darwin is adopted for future use in games for the Sports, FPS, Action and Adventure Genres, we will have a bona-fide hit on our hands.
