It all depends on the people I am playing. If they trash talk, I feel they can take what they dish out. So that explains the non-stop trash talk when I used to play Halo 2. The last games I trashed talked on were Texas Hold'em and last years NBA Live, when some guy started talking trash as I was dominating him by 30 late in the 4th.

Of course I trash talk on Xbox Live! IMO, that is one of the best aspects of online gaming. I'm not the type of person that will use derogatory remarks, because that is not how it should be. Trash talking should be done in a respectful way no matter what!

Nope, never. I usually end up losing.

I don't really trash talk unless the person is on my team and they are absolutely atrocious. Either that or when someone starts harpin on me.

Only if I'm in a bad mood or just hyper, otherwise I'm pretty chill with the mic.

usually i just play it mellow and chat it up

I only usually trash talk if there's someone who's getting really annoying, either by swearing or just going around saying owned every time he gets a kill. Or when I'm playing with my friends, but we really just play around with each other and don't mean it.

I only trash talk the game character, never the person playing and I prefer keeping it clean so no cursing or gutter talk.
