I don't like to trash talk over live, but I will compliment others for killing me in amazing ways. Get me at a LAN party though, and the swear words start flying.

I don't trash talk, not even when trash talked to (in which case I just ignore the idiot that is verbally assaulting me). Trash talking is completely unsportsmanlike and unnecessary. Anybody that does it is an immature twit who's parents obviously never taught proper behavior. The gaming world would be better without it and the people that do it.

Rarely on Live. Friendly AI, however, can get me to spit up a string of swear words. I reserve an equal share of damning for the AI character or the game programmers (although the later don't deserve it most of the time). The stunts they pull off can amaze anyone.

I do trash talk in games, but never to the point of shouting out racial slurs or heavy swearing. If I keep getting killed by the same guy I'll say, "Ah! Geez dude do you have to keep raping ME? Pick on bill2k3 he's hiding in those bushes"

Or if I have a teammate who has no kills 5 minutes into a match, "Dude your aim needs some work." but before I'm done talking I'll ask, "Do you want to have a practice match after this one to better your aim?"

Trash talking can help the game as well as hurt it, so I always make sure I never say anything out of line while also making sure to have fun and yell, "nooo crap!" when I get blown up.

I do trash talk. Normally using words nobody else knows. They will ask me what it means and I will tell them. They then look like a fool because they try to say it back to me later on in the game. I really don't swear because I don't deem it necessary. (I apologize for my awful spelling.)

Not really. It kind of annoys me when people get so loud and yelling. I enjoy "normal" talk though, IE planning what to do, "good job" etc.
