Probably the cover system!! You gotta love setting up flanks with your buddys on Live!!

I have to agree with the statement about co-op. This game looks like it might just pull off the ultimate co-op of any game out there.

Xbox Live support is the main reason im excited for Gears of War. Going 4v4 online and taking a chainsaw to someones skull from the other side of the country is going to be a one of a kind experience. =D

Art Direction and Co-op.

Solid online gameplay, amazing graphics, and the chainsaw. This game will have people playing the multiplayer for a long time and thats the kind of game I want. I don't want it to be dead after 6 months.

This game is gonna rock! Looks slower and more strategic than Halo 3, but the graphics are top notch. Definately the next big shooter, the last one being GRAW.
Multiplayer is definately the biggest selling point, and my favorite thing about GoW. UserBase and all that, big as Halo 2? Probably.
Too bad Tony Hawk Project 8 is releasing the same day. Bad timing by Activision's part.

The thing I like about Gears of War is the fact that it needs tactics and its 4v4. I love games that give you the adrenaline rush when you have to run across a battlefield while people are shooting at you. Plus, games that have 8v8 teams, in my opinion, are just boring. Everyone just runs around and no one helps each other out. In Gears of War you will most likely have to help each other out.

I really like the graphics and the stop and pop action of the game. It looks like cover will be very important.

I've heard that the story mode might have drop-in online co-op. If that's true then I am very much looking forward to that. None of my friends are gamers so I could use all the help I can get. I'd also have to say I'm looking forward to some gritty high-def multiplayer action.
