What don't I like most about GoW? The ad on TV is pretty amazing. Very different direction than what I was expecting. That's the only real part of it I've participated in lol.

I love the cover stuff and the gun with the chainsaw on it, Man, thats cool!

What do I like about Gears? Well let me tell you, I remember right before the Xbox 360 came out, MTV had a (pretty crappy) "lauch party" type show and a like 15 second clip of Gears came on with a giant Beserker came crashing through the wall and started running. Thats when I first fell in love with Gears of War.

Then at E3 2005 it was Gears mania for me. It was the first time I had actually saw real gameplay for it and I was floored becuase it was so freaking awsome. My favorite had to be the video where Marcus and the gang were stolling through the woods in pitch black darkness and rain falling all around. Lightning would ocasionally flash revealing scattering locusts and to me, that was uber scary. Once again, Gears was in my heart.

Now that the release is just a few days away, the ecitment is overwhelming. Seeing all the videos with some major chainsaw action, the overly violent, gore, and overly exciting game seems to be the only thing on my mind. When ever some one says "gear" i think of Gears of War. Whenever someone says emerge, i think of Emergence Day. Sure, its not healthy for work but I cant get it out of my head. Me and one of my buddys have looked at the XBL tralier (Mad World) at least 10 times together and we are still finding amasing things with the trialer and the game.

Not to sound cliched but i look forward to everything in the game. I want to romp around as bulky Marcus Fenix in single player, looking for Loucst scum to kill, them running from a Beserker or Spider when it rumbles near me. I want to play multiplayer and snipe, curb stomp, and straight up chainsaw some fools and laugh like a maniac doing it. I want to marvel at the amasing graphics of Gears with the amasing destroyed beauty art style. I want to find out why the Loucst are so pissed at Seirra (Did they wake up on the wrong side of the bed? ) I want to find out what happens to Marcus and Dom and the whole world of Seirra. And most of all, I want some online co-op action with my buddies. I can see in my head at night me and Partick (my buddy) playing and laughing all the while we kill some Loucst.

So, not to sound desperate, I would love to have Gears of War.

I'll let you know once i've played it, but I am loking forward to it in every way

I really like the team aspect of GoW! Plus the great graphics and audio will definately keep me on the couch for quite a while!

The graphics! I want to see what the 360 can do.

While everything sounds good, except maybe the plot, I love the idea of co-op play going through the storyline.

After reading the reviews it's a toss up between the graphics and the sound...sound seems like a last min thought to alot of game companies...glad it isn't for this one.

I just played it for a little bit, and MAN! That chainsaw is so satisfying! If your playing against people who know what they are doing, you won't have many chances to use it, but once you do, it is pretty sweet!
