Well i beat gears of war yesterday with my friend we spent maybe 3-4 hours total play time spread about 3 days. I loved the game but felt ripped off when i found out we beat the game. It seems to me like there should have been much more content to go through. I am really disapointed. i think what game designers need to do is have each dificulty have its own length. so say you beat the game on easy when you switch to normal you get a slightly harder game with added content then again for hard setting.

Really? You play on Casual or Hardcore? Casual is very easy with Hardcore being a challenge for one or two players as the AI steps it up against both players. I played Co-op on hardcore and it took well over 12 hours.......

The insanity setting is just that, Insane..

Casual but it still doesnt excuse the shortness of this game. I played Rainbow Six Las Vegas last night for many hours and this game is huge. This is what one would expect for 360 and $60 games. Ya GoW is pretty and damn fun but the length of the story game is unexcused imo.

It's not that short if you play on insane Playing on the easiest setting then yes..it's WAY too short. Insane adds hours to the game play.

I've put about 6 hours in on hardcore, and i'm just at the end of act 4. I know it's short, but 3-4 hours seems a bit exaggerated.
Still a fun game none the less and with online it will still last you along time.

Well if you have Xbox live you will have endless hours of multiplayer which never gets boring. Without xbox live, I can only recommend renting it due to most of its lasting value is in the excellent multiplayer.

Multiplayer is not "endless" fun, and a very, very large part of whether or not the game stays fun is whether or not the people playing the game are not huge jerkwads.

I'm really getting sick of companies releasing lackluster single player efforts to try and funnel you into multiplayer. I really didn't care about playing Prey multiplayer after Prey single player bored the hell out of me. You've got to convince me that you're game's worth owning in the single player mode, or I'm just not ever going to get into the multiplayer.

Its not exaggerated . I wasnt on insane was on normal and it took no longer than 4 hours of gameplay. believe me or dont
