My fav racing game is probably Project Gotham Racing 3 on X360. Though the original Outrun, and its followup Outrunners are still classics.

My favorite racing game had to be Mario Kart 64. Me and my brother and cousins had so much fun with that game. Every get together, they would come in and we would go straight to the N64. Plus, the Rainbow Road was SICK!

Currently, PGR3 is my favorite. It is the perfect blend of arcade and simulation.

However, I racked up hours playing Daytona USA in the arcades back in the 90s. Now that was a game. A local arcade had a 4 pod setup. Actually, maybe it was 6. I loved drifting in that game. Just downshift to 2nd for a split second to get the car sideways. Don't bother touching the brake during the entire game.

You can still find the machines in some arcades, but good luck finding one with the same difficulty setup as the ones you played years ago.

Oh man, my fav racing game has got to be Hydro Thunder. I loved that at the arcade (R.I.P, my old friend) and was thrilled to get it at launch on the dreamcast

I actually really enjoyed the "Cruisin" Series of games. Im hoping they come to 360. If nto i have almost beat Need For Speed Most Wanted. And PGR i have only played a few times so id get great use out of the free game and wheel hehe.

Project Gotham on my old XBOX. Just tried Grand Turismo HD on PS3 and it's really good also.

In the arcade - Sega's Daytona Racing

On the console - PGR3 but I'm really looking forward to Forza 2!

I like 3 different types of racing games. Burnout for the different types of things you do in game. PGR3 for slides and such and Forza for realistic racing.

Mosh~~
