Gears of War- Surprise surprise? There is no doubting that Gears of War would win. Epic paid an insane amount of detail in the graphics, and there are the best character models I have ever seen.

Lord of the Rings BFME- What can I say, I love the Lord of the Rings music and this game features all of it. Its just amazing to hear it in surround sound. Best Music Ever.

Tomb Raider Legend – Now this is a true surprise eh? And yes, this is a great game with an awesome story dipping into King Arthur legends.

RAINBOW 6 VEGAS – Yes, you read right, Gears did not win GOTY for me. Vegas is just so much more fun. Sure, Gears is fun online and off but playing Gears without friends can make it lose some of the fun factor. Vegas is fun with anyone. It’s really a game that everyone should have in his or her collection.

Very well done. I agree with everything there except for the fact you said LotR has a better soundtrack than Oblivion which I will always disagree with.

Good list except I take GoW for Game of the Year.. I give Vegas Multiplayer Game of the Year. I play far more Vegas Multi then Gears.

For the most part I agree with the winners. Can't say that Tomb Raider had all that great of a storyline compared to Oblivion, which by the way was mind blowingly in depth.

I was going off Oblivions main quest which was a bit dissapointing as all you mostly did was go in Oblivion gates and fetch stuff for Martin. The ending was pretty cool with the big battle ( i dont want to go into spoiler territory) but I just wished it was as fun as the side quests.
BTW the worst ending of the year was Rainbow 6 Vegas, I finished up the single player campain and the ending is like Halo 2 times 2 bad.

Great job.. im with you on them until GOTY.... gotta go with Gears for myself but love the fact that you give VIVA some love!!
