I have had the chance to play this game a the house of one of my friends and I must say that it is a great game. The weapons are innovative, the areas large, and the AI is very nice. I never got a chance to play multiplayer but 40 people online does sound very interesting.

For all people that own it: What do you think of the game?

And man is it fun. It was very absorbing, the weapons were fantastic and varied, and the maps were very different. I played with 32 people and it was a massacre, talk about soemthing causing nerves.

Everytime I peeked around a corner there was 3 people behind me. Crazy.

I too have played this at a friends house. I have played it a number of times now, every time online. I have watched him play single player and damn is the AI advanced! If you sit in one place too long, they'll come for you. Plus, when you think some of the aliens are dead, they aren't. They'll pop back up and blast you. Overall, this game is awesome. Everyone I talk to says it's a must own if you have a PS3. The online play is fast paced and a lot of fun. The spawn points can become an issue though. THere are plenty of times where you will spawn during a death match and have someone right behind you, ready to blast you!

They recently released a patch online for it that helped with the spawn points but there are still occasions where you spawn near someone in small maps with close to 40 people. The weapons are great and the game play is fast paced and exciting. If you have a PS3, this is well worth picking up!

Never played it, most likely never will. No one I know wants a PS3 and neither do I. Game does look intresting though

I keep getting farther into the single player game and I have to say this...

WHY THE HELL ISN'T THE HAILSTORM IN MULTIPLAYER BY DEFAULT?

Seriously. Primarily fire equals a mixture of a machine gun and the scifi pistol from Timesplitters. Secondary fire is the rest of the rounds in the clip turn into a turrent that is throwable like a grenade? And I thought the hedgehog was useful....
