The Future As You See It...

There has been a lot of discussion about whether or not the fact that there are 2 different kinds of high definition disc formats will be problematic for the DVD industry. The truth be told, it is possible that it could just become a mess...

For those of us old enough to remember the VHS and Betamax wars, we are all too familiar with how having two formats can make things harder for the consumer - yet interestingly enough, the video game industry has been able to support multiple formats with little hinderance.

Who knows what is going to happen in the future? No one does - but that shouldn't stop us from running a little poll to see which format we are all planning on supporting from the get-go!

Let's see where we are all predisposed toward for the moment - shall it be Blu-Ray or HD-DVD??? Which player are you going to buy?

No surprise that HD-DVD is the preferred format... Any format (Blu-ray) that touts capacity as the deciding factor is a little dillusional.
