on HD players or movies? Or toward the end of the year?

Not on Black Friday, but on the unconfirmed date of the 10th Deep Discount DVD will have a 20% off everything sale, which should include HD-DVDs. They also sell Toshiba HD players, but it's anybodys guess if that is included on the sale too.

I think I saw that Circuit City had a coupon in the Sunday San Francisco Chonicle paper last week for 10% off any movie (DVD, HDDVD, BLURAY, and UMD). I'll try to find out.

Amazon have a deal where if you buy 3 hd dvds or blu ray dvds you get 10% off the price and 10% off any hd dvds you then buy for a year which is quite good
