I've been noticing my TV is starting to become more feminine. My first clue was the labia forming in between my channel and volume buttons and the fact it takes hours of fiddling to turn it on. I tried to watch a porn the other day and a message flashed "Not tonight honey I have a headache". There was Circus De Olle before my beloved Super bowl this year and Prince in the half time show. There are Reality shows everywhere. There are Virtual Reality shows, Hot Reality on Reality action shows, Reality vs Humanity shows where does it end? Between American Idol and Desperate Housewives what is left for men to watch? What happened to the action shows of the 70's and 80's where our heroes smoked cigars and could fight crime with their talking cars? They get locked in a barn and turn a Galaxy 500 into a tank and manage to expend 500 rounds without a single fatality?

Where am I going with this? I'm trying to say I miss these shows. What we men need is a new channel in hidef. In such detailed resolution you can feel John Wayne punch you through the TV just for looking at him funny. Football games that simultaneously show the game and the cheerleaders; The only girls allowed on the side lines! I want to see midgets in full plate armor riding on miniature ponies jousting each other. I want to see movies about WWI, WWII, the Vietnam war so real I feel as though I stepped on a punji stick. I want documentaries on strip clubs around the world. I want Kung Fu movies with ridiculously "Mario Brothers type physics" aerial fighting and girls running topless in slow mo. Is this asking too much? Spike TV sure doesn't provide that.

I apologize if I offended anyone by the aforementioned but I work then commute, I come home and there is nothing on TV. CSI is on SpikeTV. blah. My only sanctuary is the History channel and their programming is declining on war documentaries.

Anyone else feel television programming for working class male is on the decline?
