Does anybody remember when HIDEF.com used to be about breaking news and events in the world of the HD format wars, or when we learned about the latest and greatest in upcoming home theater hardware?

Suddenly HIDEF.com has become a repository for everybody's favorite Youtube video of the week, or knee-jerk political opinions.

Wow, must be a slooooowwww news week in the world of High Definition Video.

It will still be here. There has been a move to broaden the websites appeal. While at first it does seem a bit off and different, the site (I'm speaking on behalf of everyone here) will find its legs and perhaps have different sections for different items. Obviously by the thread counts and posts, we have quite a long way to go, but I suppose you have to start somewhere. I know I'm speaking in general terms, I'm probably the lowest member of the "staff" around here, but I think you'll like the site once it finally fleshes itself out.
