Riddick features tons of special effects such as the opening scene with the Lord Marshall launching the Negromonger weapon.
Errr...it's Necromonger.

Also would be worth noting that the 360 HD DVD Drive WILL UPconvert your SD (regular dvds) IF you use the VGA cables. and it has to be VGA to VGA no converting. But this is a great thing to be able to watch your old SD movies in better quality than ever before.

The XBox is MUCH quieter during HD play - not an issue at all. Apparently the noise is mostly in the drive.

It is somewhat loud when using hte 360 HD-dvd. Not as loud as playing a game at least. I actually have a problem where I cant crank the volume up so it is a bit noticable.

But aftr a while you do just tune the noise out.

I'm curious if the HD-DVD player for the Xbox 360 can also play xbox 360 games. That way I can have my 2 favorite games ready to play without having to stand up to change. Yes, I know i'm lazy.

The other thing I want to know is if the HD-DVD player does upscale normal DVD's if your xbox is connected with component instead of VGA.
