Is anyone using the Tiffen Merlin Steadycam for their HDV cams? It looks nice, but I think it lists at $799 which seems expensive for it. What do you guys think of it?

Anyone use the Figrig? I havent played with either but it looks like the Merlin would work better. I could use some advice, as I will need to choose one of the lower end stabilization devices like these.
