This transfer looks really good! You can actually see the film grain and this really helps the movie retain the directors original intent of recreating that "Vietnam war era look..." I am big fan of this movie so this is on my must have list!

everyone was looking at me funny as i was giggling uncontrolably at the Sarg tearing hte recruits a new one.

these college kids have no idea how amusing this is once you have gone through boot camp.

I actually put off getting this for months knowing I was going ot get an HD-DVD player.
