If you are like me there is this feeling of loss on Monday following the SuperBowl. Almost like saying goodbye to an old friend at the airport. The long walk down the terminal after Sunday leaves us all feeling a bit empty. Heck, football has taken up our Sundays, some Saturdays and partial Thursdays for about 4 months now so we are right to feel at least a little attached. But as we say goodbye to our old friend we say hello to full spread of great sports ready to go off and lead us out of Winter and into Spring. Hello late season College Basketball! Hola NBA and Hockey Playoffs and howdy to the Pitchers and Catchers who will be reporting to spring training in the next few weeks. Trust me, come March first your new found friends will make you forget about that sad Monday trip to the airport in February.

Chris Webber is the guest and I will pretty much remember two things about Chris forever……Calling Timeout in the NCAA finals when he had none left and how he looked like he always played basketball while on muscle relaxers. It's so hard to explain what it is to be a Warriors fan but every year about Feb 15th or so we all get this feeling like we may see a playoff game. I for one have had my share of crazy girlfriends so the closest thing I can compare it to is that feeling you have with said crazy girlfriend that maybe just maybe she will make that turn towards non-psycho. Then just when you start seeing signs you walk out in the morning and your truck tires are flat. So here I am on February 7th with fully inflated tires but one eye out my window waiting for her to show up next week.
