I have just added a Blu Ray Player to my system after waiting for the HD /Blu Ray war to be decided.

I must say that the picture quality is outstanding and is really the first time I have seen what HD is really capable of on my HDTV.

My HDTV is few years old and as I recently discovered, it had only 1 HDMI port which is occupied by the Blu Ray player. I just go upgraded to the Digital Satellite DVR with HDMI and needed a way to share the HDMI port.
After recommendations from a buddy, I got a device called HDMI switch that allows me to connect 5 HDMI sources.

It works great. And I have 3 slots available to add. I think the next device in the system will be a new HD video cam.

What is that you say? It looks good? WOW, unbelievable. Mr. Species would have us all believe that Blu-Ray's image is very soft, not up to par with HD DVD. I am absolutely flabbergasted to find a report on the front page that actually praises Blu-Ray.
