I bought a house 2 years ago that has an Epson overhead home theater projector for movies.
Recently, the color will fade after the movie begins to play such that green is the predominant color. It will occasionally go back to normal color for a while (minutes) then fade back to a greenish tinge.
Is some thing a home owner can fix by replacing a projection bulb etc?

Does this projector have 3 lenses it projects light from or only one? I would think that yes the bulb just needs replaced. The bulbs in my projector need replaced every 8 months or so but we use ours as a tv and is on all day most days. You should be able to find a bulb for it by simply entering in the projector model number and bulb in google.
