I am not sure if this is an common problem or not... I've not been able to find a solution browsing the web though.

When I connect my xbox 360 via the component cable to my Sharp Aquos LC-42XD1EA, all I get is a black picture with no sound. I have tried changing the "switch" on the xbox component cable from tv to HDtv but nothing happens.

If I run it on composite or through scart it works perfectly, but if I go into the display menu and try to change into like 720p or 1080p I just get a blackscreen but with sound, and nothing on the channel wich the component is supposed to run through.

I really hope you can understand my problem and help me.
