Color is changing on its own!!! Please Help

I just bought a 2nd HDTV , the model is Samsung - HL-S5086W 50-IN Widescreen DLP HDTV with 720p Resolution and have been having a problem with it from day one. When I custom set the color and brightness on the TV in about a hour the color changes back to default. I took the first tv back a got a different one and still the same problem. I bought it open box so no book, but my other HDTV , the model Samsung HL-S6187W 61" 1080P High Definition DLP TV and dont have this problem.

Any help would be greatful.

Both units open box (they might have been returned for a reason)? Sure appears to be a bad TV. The Samsung DLP line has been riddled with issue thru the past 5 generations. They have add big issues with the color wheels failing or not functioning properly. I know Samsung support is not very good, but have you talked to them?

What source is connected when this happens?

Is it always one hour? Does it change back to default if you simply turn off the TV?

I will browse thur the manual later and see if anything catches my eye...

Figured it out. Just so everybody knows, There is a shop mode. I guess it so when people adjust the tv in the show room it defaults back in a half hour. To turn this OFF or ON is to hold the menu button on the TV for 3 seconds. It took lots of looking on the web but I got it.
