The FBI has released (they believe everyone should see it) a SHOCKING video that demonstrates how easily the shoe-bomb could have brought down the plane traveling from the Paris to the US back in 2001. The result of the simple bomb is devastating and scary. I travel a lot (over 30 trips last year) and this scares me a bit. I am very used to taking off my shoes, unpacking my gadgets, laptop and other items, and will continue to do so without complaint because it is in our best interest. Such a shame that people with such reckless hate actually exist in this world of ours.
