Apparently things are far worst than most of us thought at Sony as they laid off roughly 100 employees today. Sony is attempting to cut-back on costs as PS3 sales are not good and PS3 development costs are raising out of control putting the game division into unfamiliar territory.. Hopefully these lay-offs will help the company in the long run..
