Considering that he singled handedly ruined the development and launch of the PS3, it is no big surprise that Ken is finally retiring after being "demoted" to CEO and Adviser. I know I rag on Ken all the time but his statements from last year were down right horrible and insulting to any customer of any product (not just game consoles). Telling consumers that they will work "two jobs to buy a PS3" or that "they should actually be paying more for the console" is just not right. His obsession with having a more powerful console than 360 pushed the PS3 into a price tier that is not affordable for most. Then his inability to build a decent online gaming network only hurt the PS3 more. Throw in the fact that he let exclusives such as GTA slip away, you see why Sony is forcing him out. Ken's departure from gaming will only allow Sony and PS3 to grow and adapt (the only hope they have to challenge MS and Nintendo)...
