Microsoft announced today that they will cut the price of the 360 HD-DVD Drive by 20.00 and throw in 5 free HD-DVD Movies starting on Aug 1st (thru Sept 30th). This move comes hot on the hills of Targets announcement that they will carry only Blu-Ray Home Players and Movies. Walmart still has to decide but the strong rumor is HD-DVD for them, especially since they need the critical below 300.00 price point and have already sent RFQ's (Request for Quotation) to Chinese and Taiwanese manufactures.
