Been playing the COD4 MP BETA since Tuesday and I have this to say about the game: "Infinity Ward has outdone themselves"! Yes, COD 2 was sweet (Infinity did not dev COD 3) but 4 is damn near a masterpiece. Battlefield 2 is COMPLETE Rubbish next to COD4. The gameplay is the most balanced I have ever experienced in a MP game (next to HALO 3 of course). Weapons are solid and fire accurately. You can become a killer with any weapon which is how MP gaming is suppose to be.

The Net code is solid which results in very little to no lag in any game. The days of someone "moonwalking" around the map are gone. If you shoot at someone, they get hit with none of that they were there a microsecond ago when you pulled the trigger but now they are 10, 15 or 20 feet away shooting you instead. The sprint feature is extremely useful and can keep you alive when things are hectic. The nice thing about the sprint feature is the ability to turn corners while sprinting.

The PERK system is outstanding. You can unlock cool abilities such as: Deeper Impact (bullets do more damage) and Last Stand. Last Stand is awesome. When you are shot you go down but do not die. You automatically pull out your pistol for you to get some last second revenge before someone finishes you off. Yesterday I got two kills in a row while lying helpless on my back. Getting into Last Stand battles is sweet too (both of you go down then try to kill each other with pistols). If you signed up for the BETA this past Tuesday, you invites should be coming soon.

its pretty awesome indeed, but i still liked the Halo 3 beta better
