Stranglehold Multiplayer appears to be flawed!
When I first heard Stranglehold had a multiplayer component I was shocked! Max Payne was inspired by the John Woo movie "Hard Boiled" (the prequel to Stranglehold). The Max Payne team at Remedy have NEVER included a multiplayer component in Max Payne 1 or 2 because they said it did not make sense because "everyone" would be using bullet-time at the same time resulting in a mess - thus bullet-time would not be an advantage at all. Then if one person had access to bullet-time for a short period of time (through a power up or something of the sort) the advantage would be too great. Well, apparently the Stranglehold team felt they could get it working and it appears to be a bust. Gamespy 360 got some quality time with Stranglehold MP and Remedy was completely right as having everyone use "Tequila-time" (the slow-mo feature in Stranglehold) in Stranglehold is messy and results in unbalanced MP gameplay.
Gamespy 360 MP Preview is HERE.
