CLOVERFIELD TRAILER - PREMIERED DURING TRANSFORMERS JULY 2ND

According to the guys over at CHUD (via AICN), the actual name of the movie that is codenamed "Cloverfield" will be revealed when Beowulf releases November 16th. The screener at CHUD who has seen the NEW trailer also tells us the movie is simply called "Cloverfield". Is this for real or is the name a place holder until the trailer actually premieres in a few weeks. Early names that surfaced for the movie are Furious and Monstrous. There was even a poster with the name Furious that made its way around a web a few months ago.

Quote:
I have seen the trailer for the monster movie coming from producer JJ Abrams on January 18, 2008. The trailer, which was dated last week and lasts 2 minutes and 16 seconds, will debut in front of Beowulf on November 16th, and it's supposed to be when the title is announced. The version of the trailer I saw had the title attached at the end, so unless this title card was a temporary placeholder for the real title, this movie is called... wait for it...

Cloverfield.

Full Story is HERE.
