It appears that Mark Walberg is in talks to play MAX PAYNE. MAX PAYNE is one of my all-time favorite games that was nearly 5 years in the making. Since 1995 I waited for MAX to appear and when the game finally launched in 2001, the game was a massive hit introducing us to the world of Bullet-Time (all inspired by John Woo films). My first pick for the down and out Payne is Mickey Rourke but Walberg is definitely VERY capable of pulling off the role. My only problem is that FOX is the studio which really means I hope the Format war is over by then as I would hate to consider buying Payne on BR.
