So, another clueless research company has chimed with their opinion of the NEXT GEN Console war based off a 2000 user survey that they claim represents over 16 million heads (so ridiculous). They believe 8.9 million heads are ready to part with 500 or 600 bones for a "overrated" PS3.

They fail to realize that anyone with a "mouth" will claim that they want a PS3 with NO real reason "WHY".

Here are some of the many reasons Sony will fail:

-The average person cannot afford the PS3. Mothers buying for children and those buying X-Mas gifts will be forced to go with 360 or Wii as they provide more BANG for the buck.

-Sony's BOM (build of materials) cost is out of control (as they are losing a couple hundred per console). Can Sony, a company that only has a couple of billion in cash reserves survive under such losses? MS has 40 billion in cash and can sustain loses for a long time.

-Sony has failed to deliver final specs for their "online" service that will so-called challenge XBOX LIVE.

-Even though "pre-orders" have sold out, over half of the pre-order will go up on EBAY which means less software (games) and Blu-Ray movies being purchased.

-No real games will be available at launch.

-Over 10 games have been canceled.

-No rumble.

-MS has the programming advantage as the 360 is much easier to develop for and MS dual platform campaign is working with Alan Wake, Huxley, Bioshock, Shadowrun and many more games appearing on XBOX360 and Vista only (also allowing for cross platform play).

-They are late to the party and NOT leading the NEXT GEN.

-They lost GTA as an exclusive.

-MS has Peter Jackson working on 2 exclusive titles for 360/XBOX LIVE only.

-The Splinter Cell following this one is 360 ONLY.

-The 1080p advantage (if it ever was one) is NOW lost thanks to an update for 360 (coming soon). 360 will play HD-DVD in 1080p and also support for future games.

-HD-DVD add-on drive will sell for 199.00 (with King Kong HD bundled) the same week the PS3 launches.

-MS has bundles prepared for 360 which will increase the value of the 360.

-Europe got SCREWED by having to wait till spring for PS3 (then Sony insults Europe by saying they do not mind waiting for the console).

-Sony insulted everyone by saying the PS3 should cost MORE and that consumers should be happy to pay for it.

-The XBOX LIVE Marketplace and XBOX LIVE Arcade is changing the world of casual gaming forever. With originals such as Geometry Wars, Cloing Clyde and classics such as DOOM, PACMAN, DIG DUG, Frogger and Gauntlet, LIVE Arcade has made retro gaming cool.

-Forza owned Gran Turismo and Forza 2 will make the game nearly obsolete.

-Marvell Universe Online (360 exclusive) will become XBOX LIVE's War of Warcraft.

-Gears of War will convince many gamers on the fence to go with 360.

-HALO 3 could be the nail is Sony's coffin!

-The editor of the offical Playstation Magazine will get a 360 this holiday as she believes the PS3 is NOT worth the money.
