I have been a HUGE KISS fan ever since the 70's (when I was in elementary school). I have seen them in concert twice and have spent tons of $$$ on their music and wares. Gene Simmons the fearless leader of KISS has gone to record to declare the record industry dead because of piracy and FANS. According to Gene, KISS will not record another track until the situation improves. I am really disappointed in Gene as it sure sounds like he is NOT willing to adapt and embrace the new Digital Lifestyle that rules all of our lives. If Gene really wanted to improve the situation he would push for lower prices and no DRM instead of complaining like a little bitch (Lars Ulrich of Metallica)! For once someone needs to work on solutions instead of always pissing in someones ear (like that will ever happen).

The record industry is dead. It's six feet underground and unfortunately the fans have done this," Simmons said, according to AOL News. "They've decided to download and file share. There is no record industry around so we're going to wait until everybody settles down and becomes civilized. As soon as the record industry pops its head up we'll record new material."
