Batman Begins had an IMAX launch back in 2005 and Batman: Dark Knight Continues the tradition. Nolan filmed 6 sequences for the movie using the IMAX Cameras therefore if you see the movie on the IMAX, these 6 screens will NOT be remastered for the IMAX screen as they will be shown in their native form (OHH YEAH). Those of us that saw I am Legend on the IMAX were treated to the Batman: Dark Knight bank robbery sequence which was filmed using the IMAX cameras. The entire sequence was STUNNING! Nolan said that the IMAX Experience will be the next big wave in the viewing of theatrical movies. I agree 100% which is why I see just about every movie to hit the IMAX and if everyone follows Nolan's lead and uses the IMAX cameras, the movie experience will improve two fold.
