Smile Back from the dead (back from playing GEARS) and 360 HD-DVD Player has ARRIVED!

UPDATE 11/11/06 12:35PM - DELAY in my REVIEW and COMPARISON of 360 HD-DVD!

My 360 HD-DVD Drive and Power Supply both were BAD (What are the odds of that?). Just swapped at EBGAMES (since my GS had none) after they acted shady about the deal.. Anyway, I am getting started.

Ok... I am not dead. Was just wrapped up in the GAME OF THE YEAR for 360 or any platform for that matter. As stated in my impressions, the game is different, has great pacing, hardcore action/gamplay and takes using cover to the next level. Combine that with kick a** graphics and sound, and you have GOTY.

My 360 HD-DVD Player arrived this afternoon. Expect some impressions and a comparison between the 360 HD-DVD Player and the Toshiba HD-DVD Player (HD-A1). In the meantime, here is an image to hold you over (expect more images soon).

I'm really looking forward to what you have to say about this versus the Toshiba? What set are you running this on? Specs?

Wow, I can't imagine how 5hitty I'd feel if I pre-ordered a drive only to find out it's DOA when I get home with it. Glad to hear everything worked out though and looking forward to the review.....
