Stuff like this blows we AWAY, really it does. Hometheaterblog.com has a story on an interview with the COO of News Corporation (Fox's parent company) and an Exec for FOX. The COO of News Corporation, "Peter Chernin", stated that Toshiba HD-DVD Players cost $1000.00 (actually price is 499.99). That must be a really big rock he is living under or he is somewhere in the outer limits of the twlight zone...

And of course the only reason FOX is supporting Blu-Ray is because of the PS3. Which is bad business for technology (as they are supporting the lesser of the two formats).. Very BAD!
Next, the VP of Marketing Communications, "Steve Feldstein", had this to say: "PlayStation is by far the dominant game platform, and this should put questions about format wars to rest."
These guys are so LAME. Picking a format based off of sales of a yet to be release product that is using an unproven technology that has lousy image quality.
Today I have lost much respect for FOX. Time for a FOX boycott (ohh yeah). The rest of the article can be found
