Hd-dvd "16 Blocks" On June 13
WHV TO RELEASE “16 BLOCKS” IN HD DVD/DVD COMBO FORMAT ON JUNE 13
On June 13, Warner Home Video will release “16 Blocks” in HD DVD and DVD combo format, the third title that WHV has released in this format to date. On that day “16 Blocks” will also be released in standard DVD format along with “Kiss Kiss Bang Bang”; the Legends in Pinstripes collection, featuring “Babe Ruth,” “Mantle” and “Where Have You Gone Joe Dimaggio?”; and The Rat Pack Collection, featuring “4 for Texas,” “Ocean’s 11” and “Robin and the Seven Hoods.”
I never saw this in the theaters. I heard that it was decent though. This is the perfect kind of release for HD-DVD. Skip it in the theaters, buy it for home. The whole family can ejoy it and it COSTS LESS than taking the whole family out! Plus, I have a 2K theater at home, so I don't really lose out on the quailty experience. Thank the powers that be for HD-DVDS! It's about time. The current state of the public movie theater experience leaves much to be desired...
