The Fatman iTube???
In the ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS department, I'd like to introduce you to the Fatman iTube...
![]() To learn more about this thing, click HERE: A British company called Fatman has released a stylish approach to getting better sound out of Apple's MP3 player - the iTube iPod Dock. This apparently is for the old school audiophiles that often rave about the warm sounds of tube amps... Ok, you have got to be kidding me... If someone cares so much about thte quality of the audio that they are listening to that they would even consider this product, I am willing to bet that they don't listen to their music through an MP3 player - which is a music player that player highly compressed (and thusly lower quality) music back! This is kind of like eating diet cookies, or a fat free / sugar free Snickers bar. It just doesn't make any sense. Would you buy this?

Hi,
Testing has shown that AAC sounds better through this product than through a conventional amplifier. Bearing in mind that the rumour mill abounds with comments about the potential offering of FLAC from iTunes, this product not only makes perfect sense, it is perfect. The design is elegant, the build quality superb and as for value for money it is unbeatable -try and find a product of this quality for less than £ 400.00 anywhere in the world. Anyway, we'll see won't we...first reviews will appear in the music press in September. Fatman UK |
