Mark Cuban talks Hi-Def
Are there any other self-proclaimed tech geeks out there that love WIRED Magazine as much as I do? Check out what they had to say about Mark Cuban and HDTV:
Quote:
Wired 14.06: Prime Time for Hi-Def Interested in hearing more of his brilliant hot air? The Coming Golden Age of Television - Blog Maverick - www.blogmaverick.com _ Mr. Cuban keeps cropping up in everything I read and almost everything I'm interested in seeing (big and little screens)! I want desperately to hate him (jealousy, I know) but I can't help but bow down in awe of the digital momentum he's started re: 2929 Entertainment, HDNet and Landmark Theaters. He blows a lot of hot air all over the place and it sorta fogs up my rose-colored glasses. Nonetheless, WIRED finds him worthy and so shall I. As for the cable TV dilemna...I think cable companies can't cater to the HD niche without sacrificing a bit...and they're not ready for a committed relationship. Perhaps DirecTV will continue to service us best and steal the market 10 years down the road. Seriously though, eventually we'll just be watching TV off the internet anyway...cable, schmable.
