Studio executives give their thoughts on high-def's short term role

Over at Video Business Online, they have a nice piece on what the big studio execs are saying regarding their thoughts on the near-term relevance that high definition dvds are going to take.

Some beef:

There are some really interesting quotes in this puppy. You should check it out. I'm not sure if I agree with the one executive that talks about there not really being a "format war..." Hmm....
