HD-DVD is reclaiming it's sales lead over Blu-Ray!

HD-DVD is now leading Blu-ray in sales (it appears - I will have official response from HD-DVD soon) after a brief hiatus due to a lack of title releases in Jan and Feb. March and April are looking very good for HD-DVD and May will be the mother of all months with Matrix Trilogy hitting HD-DVD (no Blu-Ray till later in year) May 22nd. With all of those PS3's on the market and Blu-Ray is still struggling. And everyone thought this WAR was coming to an end (silly rabbit)!

Story at CampaignHD is HERE.

Samsung now supporting HD-DVD too

Samsung also announced its intention to release an HD-DVD/Blu-Ray dual format player later this year. Big news for a company that previously was BR only.

Im sorry but those numbers just look wrong. Remember that each camp is going to have Sources put out bogus ass numbers. Like the article i was reading in penthouse the other day that said Blue ray has better quality than HD-DVD i just laughed as the biased/endorsed article went on to make it look like it was legit for both camps. I would be willing to bet from simply what i have seen in department stores stock that HD-DVD is selling better than BD. I have no fake number or direct knowledge of this. But i know what i see at retail stores should be a good impression of general sales. And that tells me everything i need to know. Matty at first i thought you was a person just trying to figure out what is what with the camps but lately it seems your just playing devils advocate to species and his stance on HD-DVD. just an observation not knowing if its your intention.

I have seen these numbers but they do not represent all sales outlets. I am waiting for official word (as I did before).. Stay Tuned..
