Wanted: Actor to Take Action
The Los Angeles Times Los Angeles, Calif.
ROBERT W. WELKOSBD TIMES STAFF WRITER;

With Arnold, Sly and Seagal getting older, movie producers are desperately seeking new stars. Where is the next generation of Hollywood action stars?

Sony's current HD is 1080i (interlaced) of vertical resolution. They are currently beginning to deliver their new 1080 24p camera. This camera is switchable between 1080 of vertical res. 30i, 24p, 30p, and 25p and 25i (50 Hz standard). One cam for the whole world. Panasonic uses 720p as their standard. more»

GEORGE LUCAS, the creator of "Star Wars" and the closest thing we have to the father of digital cinema, is unsentimental about film — the medium, not the art form. Sure, it has served us for, oh, about 100 years. But now he wishes it would go away. And it will.
